Development Manager
Job Description :

Own development processes for a retail SaaS delivery platform

Span all phases of product development including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, validation, release, and maintenance

Participate in definition, design, and review of software architecture, application frameworks, and interfaces
-
Work with engineers to ensure smooth deployments at customers
-
Work with developers and ensure seamless integration with different modules
-
Work with QA engineers and ensure high quality of software modules built
Required Skills :
- Must have participated in full SDLC of at least 2-3 product releases
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE and databases
- Strong experience in managing software releases
- Experience in day to day people management
- Feel for code quality and processes
- Ready to code and mentor engineers
- Experience with SDLC tools (Code Reviews, SCM, CI etc.)
Desired Profile :
- 6-10 years of hands-on technical work experience
- Engineering Degree from a reputed institute (IIT, NIT etc.)
- Good communications skills
- Strong knowledge of Extreme Programming/Scrum
- Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery
